Classes begin at 9 a.m. and repeat each hour until Noon.
Robert “Bob” Morris, professor emeritus for Cooperative Extension and horticulturist will be leading the instruction. The topic for January 28 is almonds and pistachios.
Reservations are not required. The Orchard is located at 7700 Horse Drive, North Las Vegas (100 yards east of the intersection of North Decatur and Horse Drive. Take I-15 or I-95 North to the CC215 and exit North Decatur going north. Horse Drive is about 3 ½ miles north of the CC215 exit).
A $5 donation is requested for the classes to help support educational research at the Orchard. For more information, please contact Jonathan Chodacki at 702-257-5532 or email chodackij@unce.unr.edu.
